Hogan Bassey, an economist graduated from the University of Georgia, embarked on his journey in Nigeria, where he had firsthand experience, contracting severe malaria 4x by the age of 10. Resolved to change his situation, he invented a mosquito repellent at age 10 before he knew they already existed. As Founder of LivFul, he seeks not only to tackle diseases like malaria and dengue but bridge the gap between health innovation in the global north and the global south, alleviating the burden on the most vulnerable and showcasing how vision and compassion can drive significant global changes.
