Nicole has more than two decades of leadership experience in philanthropy, nonprofits, and fundraising to support equity-based systemic change. She has raised over $55M for nonprofit organizations, designed and managed the strategy for more than $80M in grants, and led grant management for an additional $890M to nonprofit organizations. She currently leads the Townsend Collaborative, a network she founded to support and advise African American philanthropists. Nicole previously served as the Chief Impact Officer at the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Philanthropies. She founded the Expectations Project, the nation’s largest network of faith-motivated public education equity advocates.
