Originally from East Tennessee, Roderick Blevins, Co-Founder at Croft Labs, grew up around energy. His father worked in rural power utilities, and his grandfather went from subsistence farming to early nuclear research at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Roderick saw firsthand the importance of energy to rural communities and the world as a whole. Roderick holds a BS in mechanical engineering, an MPhil in energy technologies, and a JD focused on IP and energy. Prior to Croft Labs, he spent five years at McKinsey, consulting on innovation in the energy industry, and served as the VP of Operations at YC-alum Superside.
