More than 85% of pastors outside the U.S. lack adequate theological training, leaving more than 2 million pastors significantly disadvantaged. World Hope Ministries International (WHMI) is addressing this through its Bible Institute, a sustainable, replicating approach to theological education based on 2 Timothy 2:2. Those who already have training deliver theological education to those who lack training. Among those who graduate, we identify potential instructors, mentoring them to open new locations of the Bible Institute and train others. These national instructors taught more than 88% of the nearly 1,000 courses delivered in 2024. This approach is now being used in nearly 300 locations spread across 58 nations.
