Emerging Founders

The Emerging Founders scholarship program is an all-expenses-paid award for 10 next-generation entrepreneurs to attend the 2025 Praxis Summit, May 4-7, in Napa Valley, as our community’s guests. Emerging Founders will join regular event programming, as well as have unique opportunities with Mentors and Praxis Fellows as a cohort onsite.

What participants gain

You’ll grow as a leader. You’ll be learning from and engaging with our community—wise leaders with expertise in strategy, operations, and leadership—who are exemplars of redemptive entrepreneurship and active contributors to the Praxis community.

You’ll build your entrepreneurial capacity or strengthen your current venture. With exposure to our Fellows and their big visions in a wide variety of industries, you will widen your vision for what is possible as a redemptive entrepreneur.

You’ll contribute to a life-giving peer community and open up opportunities for venture collaboration. From start to finish, you’re part of a cohort—a diverse group of peers on a similar vocational journey.

Scholarship Information


The Emerging Founders Program is a selective, no-cost program for the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders. We are excited to have you join us, and we want to limit any financial barriers to your full-participation.

Summit Registration
The Summit Registration fee and lodging at the Meritage Resort in Napa are included for this cohort. All meals during the event will be provided.

Travel
Praxis will reimburse or help book flights to and from the Napa event for all Emerging Founders participants.


Emerging Founders FAQs

  • Do I need to have an active venture to apply?

    No! While we don't expect all Emerging Founders to be actively working on a venture, we do expect that all Emerging Founders will at some point in their career start a venture. Today you may be trying to find ways to solve issues that are close to your heart, brainstorming venture ideas, between ventures, or actively working on a venture.

  • What can I expect at the event?

    The Praxis Redemptive Imagination Summit is Praxis' annual "three-day ideas festival for leaders in our community." There will be main-stage talks, breakouts, shared meals, and time to connect with like-minded founders.

    Emerging Founders will also have opportunities to go deeper with their cohort with a few opportunities for customized programming.

  • What are the lodging details for my stay?

    The Meritage Resort, in Napa, CA, is a beautiful resort on the outskirts of Napa. You will stay in a room with two double-beds and be paired with a same-gender roommate.
