Alfa Demmellash is the Co-Founder and CEO of Rising Tide Capital (RTC). Born and raised in Ethiopia, she attended Harvard University, focusing on poverty alleviation and peacebuilding. She co-founded RTC in 2004 to provide holistic resources supporting overlooked entrepreneurs from underserved communities. RTC has worked with nearly 10,000 entrepreneurs in its founding state of New Jersey and across 15 other states through licensed partnerships. A Heinz Award winner and recognized as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum, Alfa is currently spearheading Future Tide Partners to co-imagine the Beloved Economy.
