Nicole has more than two decades of leadership experience in philanthropy, nonprofits, and fundraising to support equity-based systemic change. She has raised over $55 million for nonprofit organizations, designed and managed the strategy for more than $80 million in grants, and led grant management for an additional $890 million to nonprofit organizations. She currently leads The Townsend Collaborative, a network she founded to support and advise African American philanthropists. Nicole served as the Chief Impact Officer at the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Philanthropies. She founded The Expectations Project, the nation’s largest network of faith-motivated public education equity advocates. Nicole was an executive coach for nonprofit CEOs with The Management Center and served in national management roles with Teach For America.
