Sam Miller loves learning more about the world through people and their stories. She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a BA in Geography in 2021, where she became interested in exploring the built environment and lived experience of urban spaces. Before joining Praxis, Sam learned through her stints in publications, teaching abroad, working in a national park, and, most recently, through a communications and fundraising role for an urban planning nonprofit. When she’s not crafting, birdwatching, or baking, she’s probably pondering “what would Mary Oliver say about this?”
