Brookwood in Georgetown (BiG) is a vocational and residential community that empowers adults with special needs (Citizens) to become artisans, bakers, gardeners, and more. BiG’s fully-integrated program equips its Citizens to realize their God-given talents and provides opportunities for them to engage in truly meaningful work. All items created are then sold online and in BiG’s award-winning retail shop, café, and greenhouse which offers additional vocational opportunities for our Citizens. Our mission is to not only provide our Citizens with a place to belong, but to change the way the world views those with special needs.
