Solid’Africa is addressing Rwanda's nutrition gap by providing nutritious meals to the country's most vulnerable populations. Its holistic farm-to-fork approach emphasizes local, sustainable agriculture to tackle the root causes of nutrition insecurity, while also providing economic empowerment for 4,500 vulnerable farming households, ensuring accessible and high-quality nutrition for all Rwandans. Serving over 1,600 patients daily in six public hospitals, Solid’Africa's 13-year success has led to a public-private partnership with the government to extend the initiative to 47 hospitals nationally. Expanding on this model, Solid’Africa, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, is launching a pilot program to provide nutritious meals to 8,000 students, improving the nutritional value of meals served in public schools.
